Daring to add the figure

I've challenged myself to work with the human figure in the upcoming weeks. Can I incorporate the figure into the kind of work I've been developing over the past few years? We will see. Another thing - can I work without color? Color has become something of a crutch I think. Maybe working in black and white and with the figure will lead to stronger painting - or at least - painting that better expresses what's on my mind.
