On The Way to A New Home

This painting titled 'On The Way to Tahoe" is on its way to a new home in LA. Part of my blue series this summer, this painting just flowed off the brush during a period of weeks when I just let myself have fun without being concerned about what anyone else would think. Turns out, the more I let my true self show in my work, the more other people respond to the work. That advice we've all heard? Just be yourself - well, I guess there is something to it after all.
