The title of this painting came out of nowhere, it seemed. But looking at things another way - not so much out of nowhere , really. Life has been tossing us all about a lot this past year leaving us with a feeling of not knowing where we’ll land when the coin stops spinning. I’m working on letting paintings happen more organically - less planning, fewer restrictions. Maybe that will ease the general sense of anxiety that all too readily wants to surface.
